Aims and Scope
Journal of Luminescence (ISSN 0022-2313) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, published monthly. The journal covers topics related to the emission of light (luminescence): exciton and polariton dynamics, dynamics of localized excited states, energy transport in ordered and disordered systems, radiative and non-radiative recombination, relaxation processes, vibronic interactions in electronic excited states, photochemistry in condensed system, excited state resonance, double resonance, selective excitation spectroscopy, coherent processes in excited states, e.g. coherent optical transients, photon echos, transient gratings, multiphoton processes such as optical bistability, hole burning, photochromism, multiphoton spectroscopy, new techniques for the study of excited states. Articles in optical spectroscopy (absorption, MCD, luminescence, Raman scattering) and phosphors, scintillators, electro- and cathodo-luminescence, radiography, bioimaging, solar energy, energy conversion, etc. are welcome. Also, the journal offers gold open access policy for authors (optional). Less
